- Basic knowledge of Markdown and GitHub
Step-by-step contribution guide:
- Find the post you’d like to contribute to on this blog.
- Click the (Edit this page) icon at the top of the post. (For first-time contributors, you’ll need to click “Fork this repository” to access the editor.)
- Make your changes to the content.
- Click “Commit changes…”, and fill in a descriptive title and message.
- Click “Propose changes” to submit your suggestion.
- Click “Create pull request” to initiate the merge process.
- Review your proposed changes one final time, then click “Create pull request” again.
- Wait for my response. If approved, your changes will be published to the blog. If not, you may revise and repeat based on the feedback.
Tip
- If you’re unsure whether your changes are necessary, feel free to open an issue to discuss before editing.
- For easier editing, consider copying the post content into your favorite Markdown editor. I recommend StackEdit.
